Katherine Lyons

Katherine Lyons graduated summa cum laude from Drew University in 1998 and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004. During law school, Ms. Lyons served a legal internship with the Honorable Anne E. Thompson, United States District Judge.
Following graduation from law school, Ms. Lyons served as law clerk to the Honorable Thomas N. Lyons, P.J. Ch., and the Honorable Joseph P. Perfilio, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County.
From 1998-1999, Ms. Lyons served as an Aide to Governor Christine Todd Whitman. From 1999-2001, she served as a legislative liaison, press officer and speech writer for the Department of Law and Public Safety. Ms. Lyons served in both the Office of the Attorney General and the Division of Gaming Enforcement while employed by the Department of Law and Public Safety.
Ms. Lyons joined Purcell, Ries, Shannon, Mulcahy & O’Neill as an associate in 2006. She currently practices in the firm’s General Litigation, Estate Planning and Land Use departments.
Ms. Lyons is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey (2004), the State of New York (2005), as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (2004) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2006).
